HRCI 20 Credits:
ESR’s Safe Hiring Course is approved for 20 (HR - General) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
The use of the HRCI seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute's criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
SHRM 20 Credits:
The Safe Hiring Course is recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the Certified Professional (SHRM-CP™) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP™).
ESR’s Online Safe Hiring Course is approved for 20 PDCs toward SHRM-CP™ and SHRM-SCP™ certifications through the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge™ (SHRM BoCK™).

The course is Internet based. To participate in the course, users must have access to the Internet, some type of computer/laptop with keyboard and mouse/pad, and a printer if they want to print study guides for the course. Users must register as a learner before being able to purchase the course.
Each unit of the course ends with a 25 question quiz that learners must score at least 80% (20 questions correct) to pass.
Each unit also includes a study guide handout that learners may download to help them pass the quiz.
